MEET YOUR ONLINE COUNSELLOR

I’m Chanel de Waal, a registered Specialist Wellness Counsellor with the ASCHP, dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional well-being and self-growth. My approach is empathetic, holistic, and client-focused, integrating the mind-body connection to support mental, emotional, and physical well-being. By incorporating self-care, mindfulness, and nutrition, I support clients in building resilience, developing coping skills and strengthening their overall well-being.

MY VALUES

Connection

Meaningful relationships can strengthen emotional well-being through connection, shared experiences and support.

Understanding

“Deeply recognising your unique journey — connecting mind and body to support self-awareness, well-being and personal growth.”

Freedom

Breaking free from limiting patterns—recognising patterns and developing coping strategies to create meaningful change

Well-being

Nurturing mental, emotional and physical well-being through greater self-awareness, support and personal growth.

I believe that life is all about connection—to others, to our bodies, and most importantly, to ourselves. These connections shape our mental and emotional well-being, which is why I take a holistic, person-centred approach to counselling.

Each individual’s journey is unique, so I tailor my methods to meet your specific needs, equipping you with the tools and support to navigate life’s challenges. Mental health is not a one-size-fits-all journey, and sometimes, all we need is to feel seen, heard, and understood.

Life challenges, stress, trauma and emotional difficulties can sometimes feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate them alone. Counselling can provide a supportive space to make sense of difficult experiences, develop coping strategies, build self-awareness and move towards greater emotional well-being and personal growth.
